Meet our foster dogs

Since my favorite part of my job is helping animals find families, it seems appropriate to focus on the current foster dogs at Cold Nose Lodge in my first blog post. Both of our foster dogs are available for adoption through The Sanctuary at Haafsville. Our trainers are working with them on basic manners and commands, using positive reinforcement.

Maggie is a boxer mix, just under a year old. She is a bit shy at first, but comes out of her shell quickly. If you will let her, she’d love to snuggle up on your lap. Meeko is a ten month old lab mix. He loves everyone he meets instantly. Here they are playing together out in our large dog play yard.
