At Cold Nose Lodge’s new Cattery, cats board in private condos, with individual play and snuggle time with our staff. (Multiple cats from the same family can play together, too.) Our play area has multiple options for climbing and scratching. We have puzzles and feather toys, and a comfortable perch to watch out the windows.
The Cattery is away from the dog boarding and play rooms, so cats will not need to hear the pups. It also has a HEPA filtration system and separate HVAC unit, so they do not share air with the pups either.
Cat Boarding Requirements in order to board:
- All cats must arrive and depart in a secure cat carrier.
- Cats over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
- Cats must be current on Rabies, and Distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccines.
- Cats must be free of fleas and ticks.
Our goal is an stress-free environment for all cats. We cannot accept new geriatric or immunocompromised cats for boarding.
Don’t forget to bring:
- Your cat’s food and any treats you’d like them to enjoy. We also offer special “room service” treats you can sign up for at check-in.
- Blankets, toys, or other special items to make the condo feel even more like home. They must be able to have these items unsupervised.
- Medications if needed. Oral and topical medications are administered free of charge. Please bring your medications in their original packaging.
How Will My Cat Spend Their Boarding Days?
Boarding cats get play time every day. This individual time with staff includes climbs, toys, snuggles, and watching birds out the window.
In their condos, cats have a fleece bed, litter box, and whisker-friendly water/food bowls. Toys and bedding from home can be included, too.

"Best place to send your dog while you’re away, hands down! The staff love all of the dogs and are friendly and helpful! I had no worries about my dog while I was away on vacation because I knew he was in such great hands at the Lodge! Very clean and well run! The staff also does a great job ensuring everything is done the way you want it! Thank you, Cold Nose!"

"It’s such a great feeling dropping our dog off for the day (or the week!) and knowing he has a blast at Cold Nose! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection of snacks and toys too."

"We adopted our pup, Mylo, from SOS Beagle Rescue where Cold Nose was fostering him. I believe he enjoys his time there as he leaves excited and exhausted from his day with friends. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would paws-atively recommend Cold Nose Lodge 🐾"

"We have two labs and they LOVE their time at the lodge. It’s like a doggie vacation for them! The staff is so attentive and they love the pups. They get a ton of play time and delicious treats at nap time and bedtime. Our dogs especially love their baths and facials before they come home. So thankful to have such a great place with an incredible staff who we can trust with our fur babies!"

“Cold Nose is wonderful!!! We really struggled with the idea of having to board our dogs (babies).. We’ve always relied on family members to care for our animals but with two energetic, crazy, 10 month old pups – that’s a lot to put on friends and family! We were recommended CNL by several people we know and we’re so glad they did!
Their boarding program is lovely. It’s not like conventional boarding where your pet will spend the majority of their stay confined to a crate, only coming out for scheduled walks, etc. CNL breaks their program into boarding for the evening / daycare for the daytime. After every stay with CNL, whether extended or just spending the day, our girls come home whooped from all of the activity!
Another thing we love about CNL is their ability to house multiple dogs together. Our girls are actual siblings and they sleep together at home. At CNL, they’re kept in the same “room” together at night which I know comforts them as much as it comforts us! They supply a toddler bed and sheet, but they also allow you to bring in personal items as well. I could go on – but in short, we highly recommend Cold Nose Lodge! We truly have such peace of mind when we leave them :)”
